Our Uncharacteristic Silence

Gershom is in the U.S., I’ve got the flu, and on top of that my hard disk died. On top of that, my parents are coming from the U.S. for a visit tomorrow. So my apologies, and my thanks to those of you who have kept the discussions going in the meantime. I hope to be back on track in a couple days.

I use Google Reader. As I eat my breakfast I take a look at new blog listings for the day – it gets longer and longer. Without SoJo, the quality of the readings has of course taken a precipitous dive but I do gain a few minutes to down my cereal.

On the Road

Gershom Gorenberg and Haim Watzman are available for lecturing in Israel and abroad.

Gershom will be spending November 2012 in Australia as a scholar in residence. He will be in the U.S. as a visiting professor from mid-January through April 2013. If your organization, congregation or campus would like arrange a lecture, please contact him at gershomg@gmail.com.

Haim will be visiting the U.S. in September 2011, January-February 2012, and July/August 2012. He'll be in Atlanta, Denver, and New York, and other venues are possible.
