New at South Jerusalem: The Archive of the Making and Unmaking of Israel

In service to our readers and to researchers, I’ve started creating a new online archive of historical documents – this one of historical documents that I found in the process of researching my new book, The Unmaking of Israel. First up: the missing epilogue of the Irgun history of its armed struggle against the British and Palestinian Arabs. Watch this page for more.

On the Road

Gershom Gorenberg and Haim Watzman are available for lecturing in Israel and abroad.

Gershom will be spending November 2012 in Australia as a scholar in residence. He will be in the U.S. as a visiting professor from mid-January through April 2013. If your organization, congregation or campus would like arrange a lecture, please contact him at gershomg@gmail.com.

Haim will be visiting the U.S. in September 2011, January-February 2012, and July/August 2012. He'll be in Atlanta, Denver, and New York, and other venues are possible.
